Recruiting a Digital PR Consultant

Headquartered in Christchurch, we work with a diverse portfolio of clients across New Zealand. Our team is a mix of highly qualified and respected senior practitioners, media relations experts, social media fanatics, talented writers and specialist public affairs counsel.

Significant growth means we’re now looking for a digital PR consultant to manage and direct strategic client projects. This is a full-time role based in Christchurch.

With a minimum of two year’s experience working for a digital agency or public relations consultancy, you’ll bring comprehensive understanding of not just social media but all facets of digital marketing and PR. The ideal candidate will also have a love of research and analytics.

You will have gained a tertiary qualification in communications, public relations or a relevant discipline.

The ability to write concisely, creatively and quickly is ESSENTIAL. This means you will have a journalism qualification or, at a minimum, a portfolio of written work that demonstrates both your accuracy and general flair for the written word.

Priority will be given to candidates who also have some experience delivering the full range of services delivered by public relations consultancies including media and community relations; marketing, internal and financial communications; digital PR, and event, sponsorship and issues management.

Experience producing short videos would be an advantage, as would a demonstrated flair for securing new client business.
