Significant growth means we’re now looking for a mid-tier consultant to manage and direct strategic client projects. This is a full-time role based in Christchurch.
With a minimum of five year’s mid-tier experience in corporate communications or a public relations consultancy, you will be well versed in developing and executing strategic communication plans, and understand the role of social media.
You will be commercially-minded and at home discussing the communications requirements of corporates through to non-government organisations.
You must be tertiary qualified in communications, public relations or a relevant discipline, with exceptional relationship management skills.
The ability to write concisely, accurately and quickly is essential. This means you will have a journalism qualification or, at a minimum, a portfolio of written work that demonstrates your diverse writing expertise.
You will also have experience delivering the full range of public relations services including media and community relations; marketing, internal and financial communications; digital PR, and event, sponsorship and issues management.
Ideally you will have worked within, or have consultancy experience involving the agricultural, FMCG, health, manufacturing, central/local government or financial sectors.
A demonstrated flair for securing new client business would be an advantage.
