Daisy has a background in both journalism and marketing that means she brings a broad business understanding to clients’ projects.
Having held various roles within media companies, she has developed a deep understanding of audience/consumer behaviour. As good storytelling becomes even more important for brands, Daisy can find the angles with which audiences will engage, and think about the best medium and platform for clients’ content.
Daisy has worked on brand development and video production, and produced multi-platform marketing campaigns for local print media, online channels, events and television. She’s worked alongside senior management to develop digital content strategies, and teamed up with sales teams to prepare creative briefs and marketing campaigns for advertisers that not only generate results for the clients, but strengthen the engagement between their brand and target market.
A degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, and experience in writing everything from features and reviews to plays and film, means Daisy can turn her hand to a variety of content solutions. Most recently, she has written for The Press and Avenues magazine, and has stories appear in Zest, Your Weekend and online.
Since relocating from London in 2011, Daisy has spent five years discovering Christchurch, Canterbury and wider New Zealand. Through her writing for local newspapers and magazines, she has particularly enjoyed encouraging Cantabrians to reacquaint themselves with their city.
When she’s not in the office, Daisy enjoys running, football, the theatre and exploring Christchurch’s best foodie hotspots.
